Read MoreNevet completed her degree in painting and printmaking at the university of Maryland. She studied in Paris at the widely acclaimed E’cole des Beaux Arts in Paris. Her work has been exhibited in Europe and the Middle East. In the United States, Nevet exhibited in Maryland, New York, and in Washington D.C., also in Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, Taos, New Mexico and Arizona. She was a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society. She was awarded First place in a show juried by the curator of the National Art Gallery in Washington D.C. Nevet has won best of shows, was featured in an article on her murals, illustrated for the Aspen Times, was interviewed by Channel 4 discussing her approach to animal portraiture. Until passing away in December of 2021, Nevet taught children and adults, beginners and professionals in group classes and private lessons in her home studio.
