Nevet has
her University degree in painting and printmaking, and has studied at
the famous Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. Her work was exhibited at
the Brooklyn Museum of art and she has also had juried and one-person
shows in Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. She exhibited
in Maryland, Virginia, Aspen, Washington, D.C., and now as a member
of the Colorado Watercolor society. Her awards include First Place at
a show juried by the curator of the National Gallery of Art in Washington,
D.C., Best of Show in Maryland, and others. Publications include a feature
article on her murals in the Washington Post, Illustrations in the Aspen
Times, and a full-page write-up of her art in Colorado Community Newspapers. Most recently, Nevet won Best of Show at the Roxborough Arts Council Art Show for her Blue Aspens.
Nevet has
added portraits of beloved pets to her varied portfolio of artwork.
Recent commissions also include paintings of children, brides, grandparents,
moms and dads. Her Colorado landscapes and “Vertical Fruits,” as well
as her flower series, are in many homes across the country.
